Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with over 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in turning, milling, and grinding machines, including surface grinders, centerless grinders, and CNC grinders. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and use measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work in the tool room department on special customer orders.

• Use blueprints and measuring tools to complete tasks.

• Operate and set up surface grinders, centerless grinders, and CNC grinders.

• Make basic programming edits and setup grinding machines.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.

• Proficiency in working with turning, milling, and grinding machines.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Skilled in using measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs.

• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Warwick, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Providence,RI.
