Are you detail-oriented with a knack for numbers and a passion for accuracy? We're seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients dynamic team! In this role, you'll manage vendor invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payments, all while maintaining excellent records. You'll work closely with the finance team to streamline processes and contribute to the overall financial health of our clients company. If you're a proactive problem solver with solid organizational skills and experience in accounts payable, we want to hear from you! salary: $20 - $24 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

1. Process Invoices and Purchase Orders for posting to account payable

2. Follow policies and procedures on signatures and approval process.

3. Match and reconcile current invoices with open Purchase Orders timely.

4. Match packing slips and receipts to invoices with Purchase Orders timely.

5. Code invoices by cost center and general ledger accounts.

6. Batch invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely.

7. Run monthly aging report at month end.

8. Prepare computer checks from 'selected to pay' approved by Controller.

9. Follow policies and procedures on signatures and approval process of checks.

10. Prepare checks for mailing or distribution to departments.
