As an intern, you'll have the chance to explore the vital role of human resources in driving our communications strategies. Throughout the program, you'll receive exposure to the field and valuable insights into potential career paths.

We offer competitive compensation, including a housing stipend for eligible candidates. Please note that relocation to Providence, Rhode Island is required for the duration of the program.

How you can contribute:

  • Create engaging content for Textron's intranet, including articles, abstracts, headlines, and video content, targeting a global audience of 33,000 employees. Content focus areas encompass Textron's products, business locations, talent development, health benefits, and international growth.

  • Collaborate with Textron's business unit communicators to enhance communication channels, coordinate article publications, and optimize overall efficiency and delivery of communication materials.

  • Assist in updating and managing Textron's internal social media channels.

  • Support data gathering and fact-checking processes.

  • Contribute to other assigned projects as needed.

  • Safeguard and maintain the confidentiality of employee personnel records, including personal and compensation information.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

How you can qualify:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
