Immediate opportunity for an IT SAP Applications Administrator to work for established company at their Princeton, NJ site on a hybrid basis.

Position Title: SAP Applications Administrator

Employment Type: Long-Term Contract (W2 Only)

Location/Schedule: Princeton, NJ - Hybrid - 2 Days On-Site/3 Days Remote

Hourly Rate Target: $70/Hr W2

Job Description :

Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Applications, the IT Applications Administrator will support systems activities and systems projects across assigned applications. The Administrator will design, develop, maintain, and enhance application programs with a focus on SAP FI, In-House Cash, Coupa, Concur, and Vertex.

You will need to provide subject matter expertise to the Treasury, Accounting, Finance, and Tax (TAFT) groups, to assist with problem-solving and as a resource for training development. The position encompasses application planning, execution, and support including maintaining, configuring, and updating the system, integration, administering the change control process, providing functional support, implementing new functionality, product utilization, application standards, and support best practices. Additionally, you will be expected to serve as a business process expert supporting all aspects of the financial systems.

Duties :

  • Process-oriented and analytical, quality-oriented thinking is a must. The individual will be required to identify logical, rational approaches to business solutions.

  • SAP S4 Hana configuration experience and testing experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills with a strong focus on customer interaction, customer service, and presentation.

  • Experience working with end users, taking their business problems and translating them into system requirements.

  • Lead / Coordinate a small, well-defined portion of a project or work process.

  • Configuration, testing, maintenance, enhancements, and or support activities.

  • Evaluating user change requests and obtaining approval to make modifications.

  • Lead project planning sessions with team members to analyze business and technical requirements.

  • Conducting unit testing to ensure the application meets specifications.

  • Experience in the following SAP areas (most if not all): General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Special Purpose Ledger, Consolidation, Cost center Accounting, Profit center Accounting, In-House cash, Internal Orders and Concur.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration, integration, training, testing, and implementation. Working knowledge of US GAAP.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and data validation.

  • Ability to ask the appropriate questions of functional users to define business requirements. Conceptualize business requirements into design (building prototypes). Ability to create dynamic solutions based on complex design.

  • Attention to detail should be able to maintain accurate data and develop accurate written materials.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Strong Problem-solving skills.

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel.

Required Skills :

  • Experience must include performing business process design, requirements gathering, and gap analysis.

  • SAP S4 Hana FI/CO Configuration.

  • Experience with Coupa or Ariba a plus.

  • Experience Microsoft user including creating formulas, pivot tables, v-look ups, etc. in Excel.

  • Oracle Shared Service and Life Cycle Management experience.

  • Good exposure to SAP GL, AP, AR, FM, Automatic Payment, FICO-MM Integration, FICO-SD Integration, Electronic Bank Statement, In-House cash, Concur, Coupa, and Vertex.

  • Should have exposure in Enable Payment process, Establish Closing Schedule, Close Period, Process Year End Adjustments, Carry Balance Forward, Close Year End, and 1099 Processing.
