Lead I, Software Development/Engineering in Princeton New Jersey with S&P Global Market Intelligence, Inc.Job Duties: Migrating existing legacy services to cloud infrastructure and converting existing monolithic applications comprising of classic asp pages to smaller services using REST protocols. Understanding legacy Com and Remoting components written in classic Asp 3.0, VB 6.0 and rewriting them in C# .net, Angular or React. Understanding requirements and preparing low level design document for Web APIs using Microsoft Asp.net, Core, Web API, and C#. Writing code for Stored Procedures using T-Sql in Sql Server and using ADO.net for retrieving data. Participating in Sprint Planning, Agile and Scrum practices by understanding the product backlog and providing estimation for backlog grooming. Executing continuous integration and deployment process using Azure dev-ops, Jenkins, GIT repository and AGILE development concepts. Coordinating with Dev-ops team to monitor equipment functioning and ensure specifications are met by coding deployment to various environments. Using cloud resources and tools to integrate Data-Dog components with Aws Ec-2 instances and creating Data-Dog dashboard for monitoring the application performance, application log, and analytical data. Providing product support for production bugs reported by end-user clients on priority bases.Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)Position requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related IT field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. In lieu of 4 year bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 3 year degree from accredited U.S. or foreign university. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Application Development with Microsoft Technologies; C#; NET framework (3.0,3.5,4.5); JavaScript; ADO.NET; Windows NT/2000/2003/XP, LINUX; Web Servers - IIS 6.0-8.5. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Client-side scripting and single page application development using AngularJS or ReactJs; ASP 3.0; VB 6.0; Com; Remoting; ODBC; ADO; VB.NET; Transact SQL; .net Core; Asp.net MVC; AngularJS; ReactJs; Git; Jenkins; and Azure Dev Ops.The anticipated base salary range for this position is $156,069 - $170,400/yr. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
