We are offering a contract for a Billing Specialist with experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) industry or the Government sector. The position is based in Princeton, New Jersey and is contract to hire. As a Billing Specialist, you will be tasked with various responsibilities centering on managing client accounts and improving the billing process.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and issue invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing rates.

• Work with different teams to ensure invoicing is in line with both contractual and regulatory requirements.

• Manage client accounts, resolve billing disputes, and handle inquiries.

• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts and contribute to the production of monthly and annual financial reports.

• Identify opportunities for enhancements in the billing process and implement them.

• Act as the primary contact for invoicing questions from various clients.

• Utilize accounting software systems to perform various accounting functions.

• Ensure accounts receivable (AR) and other billing tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in a similar role within the construction or contractor industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Accounting Functions

• Proven experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prior experience in Billing within the AEC or Government sector is required
