About the Role:

As a CBRE Facilities Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for a combination of advanced facilities work in regulated spaces.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Senior Facilities Manager regarding all operations and repairs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and develop strong vendor and client relationships.

  • Perform daily site inspections and note findings in work order system.

  • Monitor and coordinate execution of day-to-day work orders utilizing work order system.

  • First point of contact for all front-line clients on various requests.

  • Coordinate with trades personnel on maintenance tasks, corrective, and preventative.

  • Manage small facilities projects, including but not limited to conference room build outs, space fit outs, and site enhancements utilizing tracking software.

  • Financial support, including purchase order creation/receipting, invoice validation, budget development, and forecasting.

  • Assist with capital planning and the execution of capital projects.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedent.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong change management skills
