Successful candidates must pass High-Pressure Boiler Operator Certification program and perform other Utility duties as assigned.
Once course is successfully completed and license obtained, Boiler Trainee must accept the next available opening in the Boiler Department which could be day or night shift.
Ongoing training in the Boiler Department and shifts when available. Boiler Operator is trained to operate three high-pressure, wood-fired boilers, surge tanks and deaerators. Monitor fuel-feed systems and smoke emissions. Accurately record boiler data to daily log sheet. Maintain an updated inventory of tools, chemicals, salt, and other items. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions, provide feedback and apply critical thinking.
Utility role includes Night Watchman duties, mill clean up and other duties as assigned.
Night Shift 6p-6a
Boiler Trainee / Utility Rate \$23.19/hr
Once Licensed - Boiler Operator Rates \$25.50 - \$32.48/hr
\$1.00/hr shift differential
Gainshare bonus every 5-6 weeks
