Job Title: Associate Attorney (Litigation, Insurance Coverage, Insurance Defense)

Location: Overland Park, KS

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented, dedicated, and spirited Attorney with expertise in litigation and insurance-related law to be part of our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is not required to fulfill set billable hours. Our focus is on the efficient and effective resolution of legal issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings.

• Draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.

• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in legal issues.

• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.

• Develop case strategies and present arguments to the court.

• Coordinate with legal assistants and other staff to ensure case handling is smooth and efficient.

Job Requirements:

• A law degree from an accredited school and Kansas bar license.

• Robust experience in litigation, insurance coverage, and insurance defense.

• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer

• Should possess skills in Insurance Defense, Insurance Defense Firm, and Insurance Defense Litigation

• Must be a Licensed Attorney

• Experience as a Litigation Attorney is required

• Should be proficient in Civil Litigation, Civil Litigation Law Firm, and Civil Litigation Experience

• Knowledge and experience in Defending Depositions, Arguing Motions, and Draft Motions is necessary

• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Must be willing to continue learning and improving legal skills

• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Must be in good standing with the local State Bar Association

• Must strictly adhere to professional ethics and standards of the legal profession.
