Groups & Events Executive
What would be your role?
As Groups & Events Executive you will support the department Groups & Events. You optimize and boost sales of banquet facilities combined with room nights.
Your day-to-day
As a Group, Conference, and Events Executive, you will maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The Group, Conference, and Events Executive will interact frequently with Guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, Group, Conference, and Events Executive will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team
Handling all incoming phone, email and web reservations.
Respond within 2 hours to booking requests and prepare responses to RFPs.
In-house contact and after-sales customer contact.
Manage an events schedule to maximize yield
Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events supporting the planning team
Participate in creating mailings, newsletters and Sales blitz.
Participate in hotel promotional activities, Site inspections, client sales blitz and famtrips
What we need from you
Preferably experience at Reservations/ Sales and F&B
Good communicative skills and good telephone technique
Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference and Events function
Event planning experience
Speaks and writes fluently in English, Czech and preferably another foreign language
Numerical insight and analytical skills
Able to prioritize
Positive and can-do attitude
Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint and Opera is a plus
Sales techniques
Well-groomed appearance
Secondary Hotel School or Hotel management
