Oracle Software Engineer in Test in PRAGUE, Czech Republic

Job Description

We're building a modern application that brings a beautiful and convenient user experience to the world of enterprise software. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Software Engineer in Test to join Oracle NetSuite in Prague. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the quality assurance and testing practices within the CRM tribe. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our CRM solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The team is delivering key experiences in the product; we like to be the first team to use a new technology and to raise the quality bar. Our tech stack includes TypeScript, Preact, our design system, Java and Oracle DB. We love quality, clean code and test automation. You will join a small, friendly, high-performing international team, with members in the Prague office and in Spain. At the same time, you will be a member of a large but close-knit CRM tribe, so you will also work with, and have fun with engineers, product managers, designers and tech writers in Barcelona and in the Americas.

What you will do

This role is for someone who wants to be involved with all phases of the development process: specification, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In our teams, you will learn not only about the software, but also about the business and our customers, helping you become a well-rounded individual. We'd like you to be passionate about clean code, quality, and SOLID principles. Our team ensures that all junior software engineers receive continuing education and code review mentorship daily. If you want to work in an agile environment with continuous integration and TDD practices, our team would be a phenomenal fit.

Qualifications:

• Computer Science degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

• Experience with JavaScript, Java or another modern programming language.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior role

• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and tools

• Great problem-solving skills and the ability to abstract functional requirements and strong communication abilities in both technical and non-technical contexts.
