Role reports to: Senior Director Global Network Services

Location: Prague

What you will do

The Senior Manager EMEA Network Services is responsible for network delivery and managing day-to-day network operations, driving company initiatives, and ensuring systems are in place to support operations. You will lead, influence, and negotiate to achieve business strategies and deliver results for internal/external partners:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the EMEA Network Services team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize network performance and ensure maximum uptime.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network issues.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends to ensure our network is cutting-edge.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to help them grow and develop their skills.

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions.

  • Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve systems operations and infrastructure.

  • Lead and manage a highly specialized technical group to ensure timely resolution of problems and malfunctions.

  • Lead and drive Network Automation, AWS/Azure/GCP Networking, SDN/SDWAN design, validation, Lab and PoC testing and Pilots within regional network environment.

  • Contribute to Human Resources related processes such as succession planning, talent management, compensation planning, and performance management.

  • Analyze business processes for reengineering opportunities and establish improvement processes.

  • Ensure operational integrity of all changes to the operational environment.

  • Drive company initiatives or programs to meet business strategies and deliver results for internal/external partner(s).

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of related experience in managing systems operations and infrastructure.

  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Expert knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and architectures.

  • Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven track record in driving company initiatives or programs to meet business strategies and deliver results for internal/external partner(s).

  • Ability to analyze business processes for reengineering opportunities and establish improvement processes.

  • Experience in contributing to Human Resources related processes such as succession planning, talent management, compensation planning, and performance management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a highly specialized technical group.
