GE Aerospace Lead Project Management Specialist in Prague, Czech Republic

Job Description Summary

Responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Looking for variety? In this role you will manage various important projects of aircraft engine test facilities ( installation of a new water system for test cells etc.) . Particulary speaking about engines Catalyst turboprop, and legacy turboprop.

Information on the Role, Responsibilities and Duties

The role includes coordination of external and internal suppliers, responsibility for meeting safety, quality, time and cost requirements.

  • At least three years of project management experience

  • Projects focused mainly on construction and modification of facilities

  • Manage project scope and changes

  • Work on larger or more complex projects, or lead multiple project teams simultaneously

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

  • Prepare and present technical data to stakeholders

  • Document and communicate results of meetings

  • English at a communicative level

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Project Management & Operations Leadership. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree [in X discipline(s)] from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
