Job Description Summary
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor material flow from suppliers
By assessing supplier commit dates identify areas/parts where Pressure to Plan is generated and drive decision -making process to reduce it
Define strategies to face Pressure to Plan by coordinating various functions (e.g. Purchasing, Sourcing, Quality Engineering, Engineering) in order to achieve delivery date improvement
Act as Supply Chain point of contact for teams outside Supply Chain organization (Manuf. Programs, Engineering, Sourcing)
Engage and escalate priorities within company management and other functions
Communicate to Shops / Sourcing program priorities and work issues with program managers
Deal with Sourcing on critical orders to guarantee proper priorities and support solving critical shortages
Set allocation decisions for critical hardware (Spares vs Assembly)
Communicate updates and act as expert in Critical Material Reviews
Drive Supply Chain LOB’s to track material coverage for selected programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Economics
Deep expertise in Manufacturing, Sourcing or other Supply Chain functions
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to analyze and solve problems
Strong relationship and leadership skills: able to influence, motivate and work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams within a matrix environment
Deep knowledge of data processing and visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, advanced MS Excel, …)
Ability to simultaneously work on short term issues while keeping long term vision
Ability to quickly adapt and react to changes
Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize the tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office SW, knowledge of some enterprise ERP (Oracle, SAP)
Fluent in English, both oral and written
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
