Core Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all the daily transactional tasks are completed on time and support the team lead in handling other ad-hoc tasks.

  • Daily payment posting, supervision of automatic clearing systems and reporting on unallocated funds

  • Collaboration with collections and operations teams

  • Raising queries on unclear allocation or deviation from remittance advice

  • Clearing/maintaining/offset credit note against debit amount in accounts

  • Reconciliation of GLs (AR related)

  • Month end closing activities

  • Collaborating with and supporting the cash application team during global automation project

  • Ready to go above and beyond to build service differentiation

  • Understanding the value of service provided and suggest continuous improvement ideas to improve productivity and efficiency

The Accountant plays a meaningful role in establishing a balanced AR department. We need development-oriented employees, all eager to engage actively in building a successful department, valuing collaboration, process excellence, quality and fun in the everyday life.

This role will have a special focus on our Ecom activities (B2C), in addition to standard Cash Application focus for our B2B business.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven GL and SAP experience

  • Ability to adopt new processes and skills, willingness to learn

  • Good knowledge and practical experience with excel

  • Experience with cash app processes and account reconciliations

  • Experience with projects having an impact across different countries (implementation of new processes, systems, and automation)

  • Advanced written and verbal English Language
