The mission of the SAP Global Security and Cloud Compliance (SGSC) organization is to strengthen the security foundation of SAP to a level, fitting for a world class enterprise software company. Security and compliance are a critical to the success at SAP's transformation in the areas of cloud, Al, and sustainability, both internally and externally for SAP's customers. This role within Security Policy, Standards, and Frameworks is part of the Global Compliance and Certification organization (GCC).

The Security Policy, Standards, and Frameworks Standards Team oversees the SAP Global Security Policy Framework. The team governs the document lifecycle, supports the drafting process, ensures proper document control, and manages document publishing and communication. The team collaborates and aligns with key stakeholders on policy-related initiatives and supports awareness of policy-related topics across the organization.

What youll do:

  • Manage the entire end-to-end global security policy and security standard lifecycles, from drafting and review through publishing and communication.

  • Collaborate with document owners during drafting to ensure alignment with and inclusion of required content.

  • Review security policy framework documents for clarity, grammatical correctness, and adherence to approved templates.

  • Oversee the identification of and make recommendations for security policy framework documents.

  • Collaborate with security awareness team to identify requirements for inclusion in employee training.

  • Act as subject matter expert and lead discussions with stakeholders related to the security policy framework.

  • Understand the SAP security strategy and incorporate it into the global security policy.

  • Facilitate the onboarding of merged and acquired companies to security policy framework.

  • Coordinate acknowledgement of security policy framework documents with various social partners.

  • Support internal, external, and customer audits related to security policy framework.

  • Stay abreast on emerging regulatory updates, technological trends, and changing threat landscape to inform new content.

  • Build strategic partnerships with key decision makers across the SAP organization.

What you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in IT, security, risk management or compliance functions.

  • Experience with security or IT governance documentation processes, including drafting, lifecycle management, publication and/or communication.

  • Knowledge of cyber security key principles and frameworks such as ISO, NIST, SOC, etc.

  • Exceptional written communication skills in English including experience writing and editing business/technical documents.

  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office products, especially MS Word and MS Sharepoint.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Can-do attitude, open-mindedness, and innovative thinking.

  • Demonstrated success in cross-organizational programs in a matrix environment, ideally in a global environment.

  • English speaking and writing fluency.

  • German speaking and writing fluency are a plus.

  • Security or IT certifications are a plus.
