SAP Intercompany Royalty Accountant (General Accounting Services) in Prague 5, Czech Republic

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Global Finance Success organization (GFS) is one of the main pillars of Global Finance. The Global Finance Success Environment allows SAP to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness as well as quality of the finance processes while delivering global end-to-end process standards.

Within General Accounting Services (GA), the Allocations Accounting team manages the intercompany accounting and internal revenue & cost allocation processes for the SAP group. The global group of colleagues in the Allocations Accounting team provide 3 types of CoE level services:

  1. FI Intercompany (ICO)

  2. Management Allocations

  3. Operational Support for Controlling

We are searching for a motivated colleague in our location in Prague to strengthen our global team as Intercompany Royalty Accountant supporting all intercompany royalty related topics globally as well as the cost allocation of 3rd party royalties including active contribution towards process improvements and implementation of new projects like the new Transferpricing model.

The Allocations Accounting team members proactively and collectively perform the tasks and processes on either global level or for dedicated SAP subsidiaries. Interaction and collaboration within GFS as well as with Local Chief Accountant (LCAs), Local Tax Managers (LTMs) and other organizations is daily business. Being part of GFS, we are responsible to deliver the best quality services to all internal customers supported by the organization. Are we yours?

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You will learn on the job and grow into a role with responsibility for such things as:

  • Act as ICO Royalty Accountant, supporting all intercompany royalty topics.

  • Responsible for internal cost allocation of 3rd party royalties.

  • Manage operations and process related topics.

  • First level support for queries related to the intercompany topic for all organizational counterparts

  • Play an active role in the roll out of new tools, processes and support projects

  • Ensure proactive involvement in the process alignment and standardization across countries and regions.

  • Ensure a high level of “customer” satisfaction and build good business relations with key stakeholders.

  • Proactive engagement in global projects like the new transferpricing model
