About the Team:

The external workforce is reshaping the future - In the past, the majority of a companys labour force consisted of full-time employees who stayed with the same organization for years. Global organizations increasingly rely on many sources of talent beyond their traditional, full-time employees this is known as the external workforce. External workers are a vital part of SAPs business.

The External Workforce Center (EWFC) partners with the business to engage a compliant external workforce that delivers on the business needs, working with stakeholders across more than 70 countries and in all areas of the SAP business. The focus in all we do is to make the complex easy.

In addition to this EWFC is driving the transformation journey for External Workforce at SAP with a focus on the future of work, total workforce management and total spend management.

About the Role:

  • In this role you will manage the end-to-end process of external workers within SAP. Serving as a first point of contact for all external workforce topics, responding to queries relating to external workers through phone calls, online tickets and emails from managers, third party vendors and SAP colleagues.

  • Working with managers and colleagues to understand the business challenges and objectives, how this relates to the external workforce so that you can provide guidance on the correct engagement practices that can support the business while also ensuring compliance with policies.

  • Investigating individual compliance cases bringing relevant data together and evaluating information to deliver recommendations.

  • You will have the opportunity to be involved transformation projects connected to external workforce topics and support the change management essential for the success of these global transformation initiatives.

  • This role involves the handling of confidential data and using HR systems and tools.

Previous HR experience is not required, you just need to be:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English language

  • A strong communicator; both written and verbal

  • Curious in your mindset and enjoy problem solving

  • Able to multi-task, Manage own workload and set priorities

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Interested in learning new technology

  • Adaptable and able to embrace change

  • Experience working within a customer-oriented environment is preferred
