PURPOSEAND OBJECTIVES

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Category Buyer Facility Management to join our procurement team. The Category Buyer Facility Management will play a critical role in driving innovation, efficiency, and growth across the sub-Category Facility Management. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support the development and implementation of global category strategies and initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement Real Estate & Facilities, the role will be part of a team of 4 individuals responsible for Procurement Facility Management.

What you'll do

  • Support development and implement of global sourcing and supplier strategies for the category.

  • Drive global procurement initiatives in cross-functional teams with a focus on FM-services.

  • Support the management of key supplier relations.

  • Drive innovation, and improvements in procurement initiatives and bring them alive within the sourcing projects.

  • Generate value within the procurement process together with the Line of Business

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be a trusted business value enabler.

  • Seek continuous improvement of the procurement performance.

  • Support efficiency and optimization of procurement activities within the GPOReal Estate & Facilities team.

What you bring

  • University degree preferably in Real Estate Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or equivalent work experience

  • 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field, ideally with focus on Facility Management in a multinational environment.

  • Fluent English & German (spoken, written).

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive change across the organization and with external suppliers.

The Real Estate & FacilitiesCategory Team is part of the Global Procurement Organization and provides excellent business partnering to our internal and external stakeholders. The category is responsible for the definition and execution of global sourcing strategies in close collaboration with business owners, corporate legal, finance and controlling, as well as for sourcing and supplier management across the globe. The Category Real Estate & Facilities includes categories such as FM Services, Construction Engineering, Real Estate and Utility Procurement.

Within your daily tasks you will work closely with the Category Manager Facility Management and the buyers of the FM Category around the world. You can expect a very diverse and highly motivated team with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
