We are recruiting a Sr. Accountant based in Post Falls, Idaho to join our team. This role entails maintaining the General Ledgers for our company as well as preparing monthly financial and cost accounting reports, schedules, and reconciliations. The Sr. Accountant will also be involved in ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and supporting the Controller with Budgeting, Forecasting, Treasury, Management Reporting, and researching accounting issues for compliance with US GAAP.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the General Ledgers for our company

• Prepare monthly financial and cost accounting reports, schedules, and reconciliations

• Responsible for ad hoc reporting and financial analysis

• Support the Controller with Budgeting, Forecasting, Treasury, and Management Reporting

• Research accounting issues for compliance with US GAAP

• Handle month-end close, including general journal entries, amortization and depreciation schedules, accruals and reconciliations, revenue recognition, inventory, cost of goods sold, and work-in-process adjustments

• Process Accounts Receivable, including evaluating customer requests for new or additional credit and monitoring customer accounts

• Assist with intercompany accounting and standard costing

• Collaborate with the Controller on budgeting, domestic and international banking, foreign exchange, tax compliance and planning, insurance policy management, and international regulatory compliance

• Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as assigned

• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for accounting tasks.

SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $80,000

  Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or similar role

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
