Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Equipment Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, large high flow centrifugal pump repair, plumbing, and a working knowledge of basic electrical systems. As a Regional Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Perimeter Solutions equipment and/or Government equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: US Air Tanker Bases and Manufacturing Plants

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on high flow pumps and related equipment.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate parts.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition and compliant within safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
• Travel to various locations within the assigned region to provide on-site support and repairs.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and field personnel.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve service processes and efficiency.
• Engage in daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal planning of maintenance projects.
• Utilize a pre-established work order system to track asset activity, movements, and all maintenance tasks.
• Monitor, setup and follow through with recommended PM schedules per the manufacturer guidelines.
• Cross functional roles between manufacturing plants and airbase operations (Build/Repair/Maintain).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with large high flow Centrifugal pumps. (training provided)
• Proficient in plumbing installation and repair using Flange and Victaulic plumbing systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and the ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues (training provided).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to extensive travel. (50-75%)
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed or emergency call outs
• Clean Driving Record.
• Class A Commercial License within 1 year of higher date.
• Previous experience in field service roles.
• Willingness to attend training classes.
• Computer skills: Excel/Microsoft word/Email/Digital Maintenance systems: Work Orders

Physical Requirements:

• Consistent lifting (up to 50 lbs. or more)
• Ability to work through and around inclement weather conditions.
• Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Driving and/or flying long distances required.
