Description We are in the search for a Controller to join our team in Portsmouth, Virginia. The Controller will be tasked with managing all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing accurate financial data to guide decision-making processes. This role is integral to our leadership team and will heavily influence our financial strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Efficiently manage the company's working capital and monitor cash flow.

• Implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to streamline financial processes.

• Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

• Coordinate with external accountant for reviews and tax returns.

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and payment to employees.

• Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to optimize financial processes.

• Handle administrator duties for Quickbook Enterprise, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and Cloud computing.

• Lead the preparation of financial statements, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

• Oversee the closing processes at the end of each month and year. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services.

• Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions.

• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions.

• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP).

• Experience managing Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven experience in Auditing.

• Familiarity with Budget Processes.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro.
