Job Summary:

We are seeking an additional emergency medicine physician to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Qualified Candidates:

  • Must be board eligible or board certified in emergency medicine

  • Comfortable working at a busy, stroke certified, level 2 trauma center

  • Willingness to work at other sites, including two free standing ERs and a smaller community hospital

  • 220-bed acute care facility

  • Level II Trauma Center

  • 24/7 full-service ER

  • 2 freestanding ERs

  • 24/7 dedicated inpatient hospitalist program

  • 24/7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program

  • Internal medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry GME residency programs with Tufts University affiliation

  • 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit including 16 involuntary beds
