Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Engineer to join our team at a newly renovated corporate office building in Portsmouth, NH. This state-of-the-art facility features modern systems, including a new Building Management System (BMS) and water pump. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting, and will play a crucial role in maintaining the building's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

 Monitor and manage the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance.

 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment.

 Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance needs.

 Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance.

 Communicate effectively with office associates to address maintenance requests and concerns.

 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

 Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in General building facilities technician or a background in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC in a commercial environment

OR High School Diploma and 5 years of experience in General building facilities technician or a background in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC in a commercial environment

 Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Technical Procedures (MOPs), blue prints and diagrams, building codes, and OSHA codes

 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 Valid Drivers License - Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)

- Preferred Education: Military or Technical Trade School Certifications

- Preferred Area of Study: Military, electrical, mechanical, or HVAC technical trade school with applicable certifications null
