ADP Labs is hiring a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
We're expanding our quality engineering team at ADP, and we're searching for a Senior SDET who excels at bridging the gap between our legacy systems and modern testing frameworks to ensure the stability and reliability of our critical payroll processing systems.
Location & Work Model:
ADP Labs Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil , provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives across multiple geographies. Modern office space in a prime location.
Availability to work in a hybrid work model, office located in Porto Alegre.
What you'll do:
Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies across our hybrid architecture landscape
Build automated testing frameworks that integrate with both mainframe and cloud-based applications
Ensure the quality and reliability of our mission-critical systems that process payroll for approximately 1 in 6 workers in the US
Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality across the entire technology stack
Lead testing initiatives for critical payroll and HCM applications
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation;
What we need:
6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation
Strong background in designing test frameworks that work with complex, enterprise-level systems
Proficiency in modern testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, etc.)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills
Experience with API testing and service virtualization
Nice to have:
Familiarity with mainframe environments (we provide training for those new to mainframe testing)
Experience working with legacy systems and modernization initiatives
