Description

We are looking for a strong Sr. Accountant to join our client based in PORTLAND, Oregon. As a Sr. Accountant, you'll be tasked with various accounting responsibilities, primarily centered around reconciliations and property tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using excel for accounting tasks and data analysis.

• Handle property tax filings, ensuring timely submission for multiple store locations and corporate locations.

• Maintain and update journal entries as part of the month-end close process.

• Utilize NetSuite software for various accounting tasks, if available.

• Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.

• Manage account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

• Experience in preparing Property Tax Returns is REQUIRED!

• Knowledge and understanding of Property Tax rules and regulations.

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation effectively.

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Thorough knowledge of General Ledger management.

• Experience in preparing Journal Entries is necessary.

• Advanced Expertise in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.

• Capability to handle Month End Close tasks efficiently.

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software is preferred.
