Position Overview

As part of Autodesk's People & Places (PPL) organization, our Global Mobility team is on a mission to connect us globally and provide a high-level of support and guidance.

We are seeking a Senior Global Mobility Program Manager to lead our US and Global Immigration program. You will be a liaison who communicates effectively across the company and will be part of a small but mighty team who plays an important role partnering with key stakeholders across the business on all immigration-related matters.

You are a main contact and conduit who is adaptable and caring. You will not manage direct reports, but you will mentor, counsel, and guide more junior team members. You will report to our Director, Talent Acquisition Programs and Global Mobility. This role can be 100% remote in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Autodesk's US and Global Immigration programs

  • Actively manage our immigration partner relationships, leading docket calls, obtaining reporting requirements and monitoring contract SLAs

  • Provide counsel and education to business, stakeholders, and employees on immigration matters

  • Collaborate closely with your relocation/mobility counterparts on matters where relocation and immigration overlap

  • Together with immigration specialists, administer all day-to-day aspects of the immigration lifecycle worldwide from new-hire immigration to permanent residence, and including both IV/NIV work in the US

  • Stay abreast of the evolving immigration landscape and pro-actively lead program changes and education sessions as applicable

  • Collaborate closely with Right to Work teams to provide education, support and ensure compliance

  • Partner closely with internal finance, payrolland legal teams on process improvements, complianceand standardization of operating procedures

  • Lead immigration related project work, such as regionally strategic talent reviews

  • Support M&A and global expansion work, ensuring new locations are setup to hire diverse talent

  • Responsible for day-to-day compliance of all immigration files, including conducting audits and designing improvements to simplify and elevate the program

  • Intake process feedback from stakeholders to identify key areas of opportunity

  • Provide strategic guidance and operational recommendations for program and policy design

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong vendor management skillset

  • 10+ years of employment-based immigrationexperience. Extensive in-house experience required

  • Deep expertise in both US and non-US immigration, with end-to-end case management experience of both IV/NIV immigration (US) and management of immigration in a wide array of countries

  • Immigration budget management experience, including maintaining partnerships with finance/payroll for key processes such as forecasting and accrual

  • Ability to identify root causes and creatively problem solve

  • Willingness to accommodate multiple time zones

  • Flexible, positive, confident, and proactive attitude

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience with an on-site immigration staffing model

  • Prior mid-size company experience; tech industry preferred

  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheets, Airtable, Monday.com

  • Workday experience
