In this role, you’ll create meaningful impact through high-quality leadership development programs and solutions and responsive LOD consulting. Key contributions for this position include needs assessment, designing and delivering team development, leadership development and change programs and initiatives.

Exceptional group process design and facilitation skills are required, alongside deep expertise in adult learning, leadership development and executive coaching. Breadth and depth in broader organizational effectiveness, team development, culture, engagement and change leadership preferred.

Key Responsibilities at the Senior Principal level:

Identifies organizational gaps and develops strategies programs and stakeholder engagements aligned to business and HR strategy. Designs and adapts programs to meet emerging needs and align to industry best practices. Champions programs to employees, managers and others across the company. Collaborates with senior business leaders and other HR functions to improve systems to support organizational objectives.

Serves as a subject matter expert to senior leaders, HRBPs and managers. Provides insight and expertise and designs strategies to improve performance, enhance cultural competence, manage change and resolve problems. Provides innovative solutions on team, executive and management development, management process improvement and organizational design.

Anticipates business needs and identifies emerging trends. Leads cross-functional projects to design, develop and implement products and services. Collaborates with officers, managers and other HR functions to design and deliver solutions to business challenges. Manages contracts and vendor partnerships.

Education/Experience/Certifications/Competencies for the Senior Principal level:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Organizational/Industrial Psychology, Human and Organizational Development or Organizational & Change Leadership or other related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree or PhD preferred.

  • Typically, 12 or more years in HR, Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Development or related field.

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, OD-specific and executive coaching certifications preferred; other HR certifications a plus (e.g., CEBS, CBP, CCP, AIRS, ATD.)

  • Expert knowledge of multiple areas of HR, including organizational design, leadership development, change leadership, strategy, employee relations, labor relations, employee engagement and HR specialty areas

  • Advanced knowledge of employment laws

  • Advanced knowledge of PGE’s policies, procedures and plans

  • Expert knowledge of industry best practices

  • Expert skills in project management

  • Expert skills in facilitation and presentations

  • Advanced skills in systems and programs used in HR

  • Typically eight or more years in human resources with at least three years working in an organizational development capacity.

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred; other HR certifications a plus (e.g., CEBS, CBP, CCP, AIRS, ATD)

  • Expert knowledge of multiple areas of HR, including organizational design, strategy, employee relations, labor relations (depending on position), employee engagement and HR specialty areas

  • Advanced knowledge of employment laws

  • Advanced knowledge of PGE’s policies, procedures and plans

  • Advanced knowledge of industry best practices

  • Advanced skills in project management

  • Advanced skills in facilitation and presentations

  • Advanced skills in systems and programs used in HR

Compensation Range:

$104,325.00 - $216,190.00

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
