Hourly Rate: $21.63 - $23.56

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Central Stores Coordinator performs critical tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the Maintenance Department and its MRO inventory, as well as areas of the manufacturing floor. Duties include cycle counting and maintaining stock levels for Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) inventory, raw material, semi-finished goods, and consumable supplies. They also maintain and deliver PPE supplies to areas in the plant.

THE DETAILS:

  • Performs cycle counts and monitors inventory usage for all MRO, raw and packaging material, consumable supplies, and semi-finished good items

  • Follows documented processes and procedures using SAP

  • Follows regulations and procedures when dealing with Hazardous Material and Waste Material

  • Assists with reviewing and submitting purchase requisitions

  • Restocks supplies in Central Stores, and some production floor locations

  • Creates necessary reports to perform inventory audits and cycle counts

  • Performs inventory error analysis and determines causes for inventory variances

  • Coordinates and collaborates with receiving department for delivery to Central Stores, and other department locations

  • Prepares monthly cycle count reports, collects needed signatures and distributes to appropriate Managers

  • Performs 6S activities

  • Participates in continuous improvement events and projects

  • Assists with quarterly usage reviews

  • Participates in various physical inventory counts

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • High school diploma required , s ome college preferred

  • Must demonstrate ability to complete the Oregon Tool recommended training as documented in Training and Development Central

  • Basic APICS preferred

  • 1-2 years of on-the-job manufacturing and or inventory systems experience preferred

  • SAP/ERP System preferred

  • Technical aptitude

  • Customer service skills preferred

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms

  • Strong math skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in the performance of job duties.

  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions to support and assist Team Members; position is very customer focused

  • Collaborative and effective team player

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Available to work on site as required by job
