Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
Operate double wide forklifts, 2/3/4 stage lifts, and handle the loading and unloading of freight trucks and rail cars filled with beer, wine, soft drinks, spirits, and other products. This role involves moving palletized full pallet loads around the warehouse primarily using sit-down electric forklifts and utilizing RF scanning systems with scannable barcodes on the floor and on placards.
Responsibilities
Operate double wide forklifts, including 2/3/4 stage lifts.
Load and unload freight trucks and rail cars with various beverages.
Move palletized full pallet loads around the warehouse using sit-down electric forklifts.
Utilize RF scanning systems for inventory management.
Ensure accurate tracking of products with scannable barcodes on the floor and placards.
Skills
Experience in operating forklifts, including sit-down electric forklifts.
Proficiency with RF scanning systems.
Knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
Ability to handle loading and unloading of various products.
1+ year experience in a distribution facility specifically with forklift operation.
Experience with inventory, storage, and material handling.
Skills in picking, production, stockroom management, packing, and order picking.
Proficiency in using pallet jack and reach truck.
Experience in shipping and receiving.
