Fireside Home Solutions Experienced Field Service Technician in Portland, Oregon
Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Portland/Tualatin, OR
Wage Scale : $26.00 – $32.00 per hour
Benefits: Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
Responsibilities:
Perform fireplace service and maintenance calls.
Cleaning, diagnostic and repair of gas and pellet fireplaces.
Review and follow schedule through designated system.
Complete work orders on the job site and upload work tickets into the system on iPad.
Ensure all parts and accessories are loaded on the vehicle for each project.
Interact with and provide answers to customers questions and concerns.
Maintain a professional attitude and effective communication with customers and office staff.
Follow OSHA rules and company safety standards.
Properly maintain company issues vehicle, electronics and tools provided.
Requirements:
Previous service technician or HVAC experience preferred.
Must be familiar with gas systems & low voltage.
Previous mechanical experience required.
Ability to follow your schedule.
Good communication skills required.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more.
Valid OR Driver’s License with clean driving record.
