This position will coordinate and deliver the processes, policies, and procedures necessary to make critical data available to the right people, at the right times, in a standardized and reliable form. The position’s primary focus is around data governance and ensuring that bureau business decisions are supported by relevant, reliable, and accurate data.
About the division:
The Data Analytics & Performance Division is a newly created division within the Chief Financial Officer’s group and consists of a working manager and 5 analysts. The division provides essential services to the bureau, including data governance, data analytics, strategic planning, program evaluation, process mapping and improvement, performance metrics management, data visualization, and performance stat session management.
What you’ll get to do:
Integrate data across the bureau to optimize business decisions made at strategic, tactical, and operational levels of the organization.
Ensure that our employees, partners, and customers have access to the right data and information to enable them to make data-driven decisions.
Set and enforce policies related to data and Metadata management, access, usage, security, and quality.
Set standards and processes to appropriately manage data assets.
Identify, define, escalate, and resolve issues related to data security, data access, data quality, regulatory compliance, data ownership, policy, standards, terminology.
Consolidate data reports and improve efficiency.
Develop and implement governance processes and support with training.
Audit and assess validity of data in information systems; recommend information system and business process changes to improve data integrity.
