Job Description

An insurance company in the Portland, Oregon area is looking for a Data Engineer IV to join their team. This person will be focusing on building API's to surface data to other applications. It's a split between a data engineer with certain software engineering skillsets being needed. This person will be an individual contributor, with hands on technical experience required. This will be on the Actuarial Transformation team, which is automating and modernizing processes for core internal stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience

• Experience building Data API's for data lakes

• Experience building out spark notebooks and moving from silver medallion to Cosmo DB (database)

• Strong API experience, preference to FastAPI

• Strong scripting in Python - Dataiku

• FastAPI experience null
