Description We are offering a short term contract opportunity for a Controller in the Marketing/PR industry, based in PORTLAND, Oregon. As a Controller, you will be tasked with a variety of duties, including managing financial systems and overseeing the company's financial status.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's financial status, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Manage financial systems, utilizing NetSuite and UKG Pro

• Utilize Excel VBA for data analysis and financial modeling

• Prepare and present financial reports using Power BI

• Maintain CPA standards in all financial operations

• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

• Collaborate with team members to ensure financial goals are met

• Conduct regular financial audits and report findings

• Monitor financial performance and make recommendations for improvements

• Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws. Requirements • Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

• Proficient in using Excel VBA for data analysis and management

• Experience with NetSuite for financial planning and operations

• Ability to use Power BI for business analytics and data visualization

• Familiarity with UKG Pro for human capital management

• Experience in the Marketing/PR industry is essential

• Demonstrated ability to control budgets and manage financial resources

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven leadership abilities and team management experience
