ZoomCare is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team! The Family Medicine Provider (Collaborating Physician) is responsible for providing clinical support and collaborating with other physicians, and advanced practice providers. The Collaborating Physician delivers clinical care (primary care) to ZoomCare patients, manages uncontrolled chronic illnesses, evaluates medically complex patients and provides education and mentorship to the ZoomCare provider workforce.

SCHEDULE

  • Work (3) 8 hour days in clinic, 8am - 5pm + (1) remote clinical support day for PA's/NP's (7AM-12AM)

  • Ability to truly unplug at the end of your shift

  • No staying late to work through a waiting room full of patients

COMPENSATION

  • Base salary range: $205,000 - $245,000 DOE per year plus bonus potential and shift pay

  • Up to $10k Sign on bonus

  • Master the ZoomCare Perfect Visit™ approach which includes: staying on time, using labs and pharmacotherapy/medications available through our ZoomCare system whenever possible, and achieving visit goals, as defined by ZoomCare metrics.

  • Master the ZoomCare “team care” approach (our method of referrals, follow-up, etc).

  • Provide on-call clinical and medical decision support to our providers (amount may vary depending on collaborating physician numbers, vacation time, and leave times).

  • Collaborate with other physician leaders to strengthen our evidence-based platform and develop point-of-care clinical guidelines.

  • Participate in clinical committees as requested by the medical office.

  • Create medical content in the form of presentations to clinical colleagues and clinical recommendations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Board Certified Physician, required.

  • 5+ years of clinic practice experience, preferred.

  • Eligible to participate in Medicare program.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Clinic shifts are 8 hours long (start and end times will vary depending on clinic location).

  • Clinical support shifts start at 7:00 AM and continue until midnight for support of providers in the field. These occur on average one in seven days and are separate from in-clinic days. During these shifts, you:

  • May work from home, but must bereadilyavailable by phone and secure messaging system and have computer/internet access.

  • Must remain available by phone for rare support needs from midnight to 7:00 AM.

  • The number of each type of shift may be flexible, based on business needs and the collaborating physician’s schedule.

  • Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.

  • Vaccinated against COVID-19.

  • Vaccinated against Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), TD/TDAP.

  • Fittested for an N-95 mask, must beclean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.

  • Must wear a mask when needed.
