Job Description:

-Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, create parts from MasterCam programs from start to finish.

-Edit programs and G&M codes to adjust part cutting dimensions/tolerances, and create setup procedures for custom job shop orders.

-The role involves planning and programming new jobs, setting up machines, running low quantity jobs (typically 10 or fewer pieces), and setting up repeat jobs.

-Responsibilities also include changing chucks, collet assemblies, boring jaws, uploading and downloading programs, selecting and setting up tools, touching off, tooling, setting work coordinates, dry run or program prove out, measuring and adjusting first parts, and problem-solving.

Job Type:

-This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Work Site:

-This is a fully on-site position in PORTLAND, Oregon.

Work Environment:

-Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM
