Job Title: ChemistJob Description
Provide analytical services and results accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner to clients. Analyze samples using GC conventional, MS, MSMS, and other detection techniques. Propose improvements and stabilize analytical processes. Perform extractions and sample analysis as per documented methods and Standard Operating Procedures. Troubleshoot issues with analytical procedures and perform routine and preventative maintenance, verification, and calibration of analytical instrumentation. Routinely analyze, which includes screening, quantitation, and reporting, of large-scale pesticide panels.
Responsibilities
Provide accurate and efficient analytical services to clients.
Analyze samples using GC conventional, MS, MSMS, and other detection techniques.
Propose improvements to and stabilize analytical processes.
Perform extractions and sample analysis according to documented methods and Standard Operating Procedures.
Troubleshoot issues with analytical procedures.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance, verification, and calibration of analytical instrumentation.
Routinely analyze large-scale pesticide panels, including screening, quantitation, and reporting.
Essential Skills
Experience with liquid chromatography, LC-MS, mass spectrometry, LCMS/MS, MSMS, LC, mass spec/tandem mass spectrometry, and gas chromatography.
Knowledge of laboratory quality assurance and assay techniques.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science from a four-year college or university.
2+ years of analytical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting liquid chromatographic instrumentation.
Experience routinely analyzing and producing data packages for small and larger data sets.
Analytical and extraction method troubleshooting, development, and optimization.
Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and data analysis software packages such as Analyst, Sciex OS, Multiquant, Tracefinder, Chromeleon, or equivalent.
Sample preparation, extraction, and general bench chemistry techniques.

Fast-paced analytical laboratory. Designated free parking downtown. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00
