Mercedes-Benz Centralized Diagnostic Technician (CDT)
Schedule: 10 hour days, 4 days a week option or 5 8's available - your choice!
Pay: Competitive Flat Rate pay and relocation assistance available
As a Centralized Diagnostic Technician, you are a specialist for the systematic performance of complex fault diagnosis, checking repair processes, performing final inspections and, if needed, handing the vehicle over to the customer. You support colleagues in systematic fault diagnosis and subsequent repair steps, thus finding professional solutions for difficult cases. You increase workshop efficiency by optimizing diagnosis procedures and transfer you r diagnosis know-how and information on new technical features to your colleagues.
Responsibilities/Our ideal candidate:
The CDT is responsible for fixing their customer’s vehicle on the first visit as well as supporting their team to do the same.
Deliver the best customer experience during every customer interaction
You are able to instruct and support qualified technicians and system technicians in diagnosis and troubleshooting work.
You have basic knowledge of quality control loops and processes
You revel a high level of willingness to learn and have the potential to learn.
You regard yourself as a representative of the company and the Mercedes-Benz brand, think and act in a service-oriented manner, and professionally implement all specifications from Mercedes-Benz as regards to outstanding customer experience.

Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Current and valid driver’s license
Must be able to relocate to Portland, Oregon area - relocation assistance available
Automotive technician experience is required
