The Link Practice Manager works collaboratively with all members of the Link team to provide top quality care to both the clients and staff members. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of Spurwink's service array to support callers thoughtfully and support referrals. The Practice Manager oversees the overall day to day operations of Link including both front office (Admin, check in/out, referrals) and back office (clinical support) functions to ensure exemplary customer service to our clients and timely response to our provider staff. The role is responsible for managing the schedule and performance of Link Coordinators. This role also works to ensure metrics are achieved. This position reports to the Associate Director of CCBHC, and works closely with other agency leadership, to ensure that site operations support delivery of high-quality care and customer service. Under the Associate Director of CCBHC, the Practice Manager assists with implementation, monitoring and integration of continuous quality improvement initiatives, clinical metrics, and other key performance measures. Provides consultative service/support to Psychiatric Providers and Program Supervisors and works with Program supervisors to ensure that site needs are supported.

    DUTIES:

  • Management responsibility for all Link Coordinators.

  • Provide effective oversight of daily program operations to ensure effective functions of Link.

  • Monitors the delivery of high-quality patient care by supporting the implementation of continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, licensing, and Corporate Compliance programs.

  • Creates an environment of employee ownership in their practice by providing timely communication of practice organization information, engaging employees in problem solving and process improvement, and providing leadership support and resources.

  • Updates and ensures the accuracy of Spurwink contact and program information on internal systems and external websites and databases.

  • In partnership with Associate Director of CCBHC communicates performance expectations and measurements and regularly monitors performance.

  • Participates in local marketing and community relations efforts on behalf of Spurwink.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum Education Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent education or experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

    Minimum Experience Requirements : Must be proficient with electronic databases, electronic communication, and personal computers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Electronic Health Records preferred. Experience supervising other staff preferred. Prior experience working in the behavioral health field as well as call center and/or customer service experience is preferred.

    Minimum Competency Requirements : Must be highly adaptive, organized, able to work independently, and motivated to complete essential functions of job in a timely fashion. Must show initiative and good problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to help maintain a positive work environment with consumers, team members, and among providers across the agency.
