Position Title :

Maintenance E/I Technician

Pay Rate :

$35.62/hr. to $46.80/hr. ($.68 to $1.83/hr. shift allowance)

Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Sign on Bonus :

New hires are eligible for up to $5,000 in relocation assistance for those that relocate more than 75 miles from the Port Wentworth Mill.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Routine maintenance work

  • Ability to safely operate equipment in a heavy industrial environment

  • Diagnostics, repair, maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and electrical control systems

  • Troubleshooting all electrical, instrumental and process malfunctions, including mechanical power transmission equipment and hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Repairing and overhauling automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, electrical AC/DC systems and related systems.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Eligible for employment in the US

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Basic computer skills

  • Able to function in a team environment.

  • 5 or more years of Heavy Industrial Maintenance Experience in any of the following skill areas: Instrumentation, Electrical, or both Instrumentation and Electrical

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in any of the IP Core Maintenance skills or related disciplines. (Instrumentation or Electrical)

  • Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.

  • Strong math/physics understanding.

  • Instrumentation background on the Instrumentation Electrical side.

  • SAP Experience
