Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Warehouse Assistant that can also drive a box truck or van, as needed, to help with deliveries. Should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse. We are a HVAC and Plumbing contractor so knowledge of HVAC and plumbing parts is a plus. This is a day shift position. Must have knowledge of shipping and receiving with the ability to pull and organize shipments as well as receive and stock warehouse. Assistant must be able to load/unload trucks and trailers using a forklift. Position requires lifting at least 50 lbs., climbing ladders, a valid Florida driver’s license, a forklift certification and passing a drug test.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive a forklift and company vehicles.
Clear driving record.
Forklift certification a plus, but will train.
Pull and prepare orders for shipping.
Strong organization skills to receive and organize parts in warehouse.
Self-motivated and punctual.
Lifting at least 50 lbs.
Climb ladders.
Load/unloading trucks and trailers.
Knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing parts a plus.
