Boeing is searching for a SAP Supply Chain Functional Analyst.

In this role you will be working with Boeing Aerostructures Australia (BAA) to ensure they are getting great value from our SAP Supply Chain (MM/SD) system.

Working within Boeing’s Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) group based in Melbourne, the position involves significant internal customer/stakeholder engagement and management, including business and technical requirements analysis to drive towards key business objectives involving applications and infrastructure.

In this role, you will be doing hands-on consulting to effectively gather key information, analyse options, and provide guidance for implementing, improving, and supporting specific enterprise, bespoke, and commercial applications across the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for delivering improvements to existing functionality and new solutions within SAP Material Management, Inventory management & Logistics Execution modules in support of the Procurement & Logistics Business processes.

  • Gather business requirements and write functional specifications for system enhancements and assist in performing systems and unit testing of those enhancements.

  • Prepare and delivery training documentation to end users.

  • Coordinate deployments with SAP Basis Analysts and wider Boeing IT&DA team.

  • Engaging with functional and technical subject matter experts across the business and the software vendors to address customer requirements and technical performance of key systems from new initiatives through design, build, test and deployment.

  • Triage, investigate, replicate, and resolve incidents relating to the useability of the systems and assist developers in fixing and verifying fixes including supporting user acceptance testing.

  • Operate in an agile environment and providing thought leadership on new ways of working.

Education

  • Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline desirable but not essential.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Project or Support based roles.

  • Experience with systems implementation, upgrades, configuration, testing, documentation, and reporting.

  • Knowledge & Hands-on experience in standard SAP MM / IM / LE Module Features & Configuration SAP BW / Hana, S/4HANA and SAP Fiori Apps integrated with FI / SD Modules / BW systems along with related tools / Partners through EDI / IDOC & migration tools etc.

  • Understand the business functions of Procure to Pay / Inventory Management / Vendor Management / Subcon Process / Stock Transfer Order / Batch handling / Accounts Payable.

  • Experience in custom solution implementation / RICEF / Change Management Process.

  • Experience in senior stakeholder and business leader engagement skills, including developing, documenting and presenting briefs and project updates.

  • Experience with Aerospace, Defence, Manufacturing or Heavy Engineering industries, in the provision of IT services is desirable but not essential.

Eligibility
