Summary You will serve as a LEAD POLICE OFFICER in the OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVBASE VENTURA COUNTY SEC. Responsibilities You will seize and protect evidence found at the scene of crimes and/or incidents. You will respond immediately to critical incidents. You will direct and evaluate work performed by police officers. You will conduct inspections on foot or by vehicle to maintain safety and security of persons and property. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement (LE), physical security (PS), antiterrorism (AT), and force protection (FP) functions; 2) Deploying specialized or advanced techniques, equipment, knowledge, or training; 3) Conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents; and 4) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations.
