Heritage Environmental Services, LLC Onsite Program Manager in Port Fourchon, Louisiana

Primary Purpose

Individual will provide On-Site Program Management coverage by identifying, implementing, and maintaining historical data, monitoring waste generation, regulatory status and scheduling of all waste services. Responsibility for multiple U.S. customer locations while acting as a liaison for all parties.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

  • Conduct Daily Site inspections

  • Conduct weekly RCRA inspections

  • Work with customers and vendors to implement improved waste management procedures

  • Prepare and maintain historical data, including hazardous waste manifest return copies, land disposal documents, and waste profiles.

  • Prepare labels, and singe, develop accumulation area site layouts.

  • Monitor waste generation rates and regulatory status at facilities.

  • Tracks pick up and service delivery scheduling

  • Develop accumulation area site layouts.

  • Manage all document tracking and prepare annual/bi-annual waste reports to Environmental Department

  • Manage supplier subcontractors working on behalf of Heritage

  • Meet with supplier partners to discuss disposal opportunities, negotiate pricing and review current approvals.

  • Prepare monthly waste activity reports for clients as requested

Education: Internal Candidates: A four-year degree is required with a minimum 2 years Heritage experience from a Customer Experience or Technical Role, as evidenced by by a consecutive score of 3 or greater on previous evaluations (minimum 2 evaluation periods). In lieu of degree, a High School Diploma with 4+ years of Customer Experience or Technical role required.

Experience: Internal: Two years waste management industry required. Five years' experience in waste management industry preferred. In lieu of degree 4+ years' experience required.

Knowledge and Abilities: Experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. Must possess strong attention to detail; superior time management skills; excellent communication and relationship building skills. Ability to foster lasting relationships with clients and supplier partners. Must be comfortable building relationships in-person and remotely. Ability to be solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction. Ability to write business proposals. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations including 40 CFR 265. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
