::: {dir="auto"} This facility is a non-profit facility that operates solely on donations. We are looking for candidates that want to make a difference in dogs' lives and earn a modest paycheck for this dedication. We are looking for employees to provide care for sheltered animals, treat animals with kindness and respect, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the dogs. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Specific Job Duties: :::
::: {dir="auto"} Clean and maintain kennels, animal living areas, equipment, and other shelter areas daily. Including, sweeping, mopping, taking out garbage, and washing, drying, and folding shelter laundry. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Provide each animal with food, water, and exercise following approved feeding and exercise protocols. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Follow proper safety measures and procedures when using handling animals, equipment, and cleaning supplies. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Assist other employees, adopters, and volunteers in a cheerful and respectful manner. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Inform executive director of any health and behavior issues with the animals. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the executive director. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Skills/Qualifications: :::
::: {dir="auto"} Must enjoy working with all types of dogs :::
::: {dir="auto"} Able to follow oral and written instructions :::
::: {dir="auto"} Able to humanely handle animals under various circumstances :::
::: {dir="auto"} Able to work harmoniously with other employees :::
::: {dir="auto"} Able to lift and properly handle medium and large size dogs :::
::: {dir="auto"} Must be courteous and friendly with coworkers, adopters, volunteers, public :::
::: {dir="auto"} Must be punctual, reliable, responsible, and have transportation :::
::: {dir="auto"} Must have valid driver's license to transport dogs for medical care and rescue. Please do not apply if you do not drive. :::
