UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Laboratory Research Assistant in PORT ARANSAS, Texas
Fish husbandry of southern flounder, red drum and sheepshead minnow. This will include maintaining juvenile stocks, brood stocks, and contributing to larval rearing. Perform toxicity testing of lithium in embryonic and larval red drum, sheepshead minnow and southern flounder. Perform field water collections and atomic absorption spectrophotometry analyses of lithium and other standard ions. Contribute to data management, compliance and progress reporting for on-going funded projects.
