Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the manufacturing sector at our location in Pooler, Georgia. As a Staff Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to manage customer applications, keep accurate customer records, and address customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Keep accurate records of customer credit

• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take action when necessary

• Ensure accuracy in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Carry out bank reconciliations regularly

• Manage general ledger activities and journal entries

• Handle month end close operations

• Use NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in day-to-day operations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar within the Manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Experience in performing bank reconciliations.

• Solid understanding of General Ledger management.

• Capable of creating and managing journal entries.

• Experience with month end close procedures.

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks.

• Experience in using Oracle financial software.

• Competence in QuickBooks for financial management.

• Familiarity with SAP software for business operations.
