Position Purpose

The Quality Management Systems Administrator will track and measure quality results. Responsible for maintaining the QMS. Contributes to training and development of teams to guide continuous improvement. Incorporates methodology such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen in the quality activities.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Organize, track, and maintain information concerning the various aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Coordination and follow-up of procedures and other documentation associated with the governing standards for JCB
  • Monitor and report on the Corrective / Preventive Action systems
  • Participate in the internal audit program for the standards listed above including supplier audits when necessary
  • Responsible for controlled external documents (ASTM, NIST, ASME, API, etc.)
  • Champion organizational goals and values and continual improvement of the existing software / systems / processes currently in place with respect to the QMS
  • Support the QA group and/or other JCB entities in various projects as assigned
Nature and Scope

Reports to Senior Manager of Operational Excellence

Minimum Qualifications

Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.

  • 5-7 years of experience in document control
  • Self- disciplined professional working environment, strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to compile routine reports and correspondence, ability to speak and write effectively and professionally and effectively work with diverse groups
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in quality related discipline or similar.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
  • Good working knowledge of quality requirements and management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize time efficiently, excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability to change with conditions and circumstances is essential in successfully performing this job
  • Capable of working independently and willing to take initiative when discrepancies are found in the system
  • Good computer skills, including Office Suite programs and ability to learn new programs
