Job Description

An OEM in Pontiac is looking for a Mechanical Technician to assist in development of several fuel cells. Some of the roles and responsibilities would include replacing components with larger versions and creating plumbing to connect the components. They would work in tandem with Electrical Technicians who are responsible for replacing old instrumentation and controls hardware. Post-development, the Mechanical Technician would be required to perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy of their work. This Technician would be supporting various rebuilds at a given time, reading schematics, testing, and working cross functionally with technicians and engineers.

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in Technician roles

- Experience in a lab environment supporting automotive fuel cells

- Ability to read schematics

- Knowledge of compression fittings null
