Honor Community Health is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Health Center co-located within 20 locations. Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care. We serve all populations regardless of their ability to pay. Our team is passionate about serving the people of Oakland County.

Position Description
Reporting to the Supervisor, Behavioral Health the full time, exempt Behavioral Health Clinician is an essential member of a high performing healthcare team. The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) will provide clinical behavioral health services to assure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered. In addition, the BHC will uphold the health center’s mission and quality standards which result in better patient health outcomes, overall satisfaction, and stronger operational and fiscal capacity of the health center. The BHC will adhere to Honor Community Health (HCH) policies and procedures while carrying out and monitoring a wide range of clinical processes. The BHC will maintain strong internal and external relationships, serving as liaison on behalf of HCH’s centers. The BHC works collaboratively to create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality behavioral health care to all. Productivity expectation of a trained BHC is an average of 10 or more behavioral health consultations/counseling per clinical day.
This position is for our School-based Health Center. Our standard hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Spanish speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
What are we looking for?
Current license to practice in Michigan as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Limited License Psychologist, License Professional Counselor, Doctoral degree in Psychology.
Limited Licenses may be considered (LLMSW, LLPC, LLC, TLLP)
A Master’s degree in social work or related field
Minimum of two years’ experience with mental health
Knowledge of primary care and healthcare integration is strongly recommended
Must maintain BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
CAABC/ substance use experience is preferred.
Spanish-speaking preferred.
